i’m so tired, sorry i’m not being a better plot builder ualkdj
lol no worries — I didn’t even know where that came from. I think I’m just overexcited because this is the first day in a week that I didn’t spend in a daze.

is this in reference to the third Pirates movie because I haven’t seen that I just know it’s about them trying to catch a mermaid or something…?demon AU is taking it’s toll on you Trance or my mind is just stuck on the fact Pirates of the Caribbean is playing in my headIdea — the mer-people are plundering human vessels in the bermuda triangle after seeing the frightening effect of more extreme fishing measures (harpoons, waling), and try to take down a pirate ship only for the captain to get wise to them and, with some crazy hijinks, kidnaps the mer-king’s son after catching him in a net. Then they steer straight into an island and get marooned there.
Story ends with the captain killing the second mate for working against him and attacking the mer-people circling the island. Then pirates and mer-people work in harmony to drag the ship back out, ship sails off into sunset with

AND DANNY HAS ONE.
YES. That’s why the pirate ship was there, and why the king was so angry. Jazz used one of the black pearls years ago, to leave and be with her human lover. Her lover was an explorer tasked with going to the new world. He betrayed her, taking the pearl to present to his own king. The news got out, and other ships are now sailing out, looking for the pearls, whalers and pirates trailing after them looking for spoils. And Danny’s father used the attacks on the wales as an excuse to go after the humans, for taking Jazz.
Danny has one on him when he’s captured by the pirates, but is too afraid to use it because he’s always watched, and he’s heard stories of the type of thing humans would do to him if they captured him while transformed. He doesn’t know how to walk ether, even if feet would make it easier to escape from the island.
But he’s getting sick — really sick. He isn’t used to the human rations, and being out of the water so long isn’t good for him. The pirates are afraid their captive will die before they can get off the island. And their ship is damaged. And they start slowly running out of food.
And the king is too afraid to do anything but wait it out, too haunted by what had happened to Jazz, with guards standing around the island, constantly watching.
Once they’re out of food, there’s an incident and Phantom orders his men onto the island and away from the shoreline. They try to gather food, but the men are getting weak and they can’t even fish. After their doctor gets sick himself, Phantom decides it’s best to keep the captive nearby.
With him.

i wrote one paragraph of fanfic and it was the intro and i just gave up
i dont understand how writers just keep writing it is so hard

Comics require insane artistic talent, and consistency. I don’t get how people can draw one human-ish looking panel, let alone hundreds and thousands.
Yeah, comics are hard as hell even if you do have some skill. You have to think about poses, facial expressions, backgrounds, shading, smooth panel transitions, layout — and even then you still have to write a decent script.
And beyond that, writing a page of text? Thirty minutes, if you get really, really stuck. A comic page? Hours of continuous work, even on a really easy page. It’s really fucking hard to draw consistently and at high speeds when you’re doing a comic, if you want to do it even semi-seriously.

It’s kinda funny that you keep saying that. Even though the Phantom I write is completely different than the one you’re writing, he’s also gotten some cat-like tendencies over time. I think it started the moment I realized the Fentons didn’t give him a proper name, and that he was like that cat we called ‘Kitten’ so long that it just stuck.
After that the odd parallels didn’t stop. Like climbing on top of the cabinets in the lab and hissing at people getting too close, or when Maddie pets his hair and he shivers like that feral we used to have, or when he hides babies in inconvenient dark places when feeling too threatened.
You know how a while back I joked about ectoweenie being the danny phantom porn tag? Now I’m wondering if perhaps there is NO PORN TAG and so all the little homeless boner Danny’s getting raped or having sex with their own mother who for some reason has a dick just have to wander the main tag.
I guess it’s no surprise, I mean, innocent as a lot of it is (which is to say that most of the time I don’t get a big ol’ face full of dick), the phandom seems to be like 70% fetish. There must be a place for these, somewhere…

Nope, no porn tag. It would be kinda pointless to try, really — it’s not like the cartoon porn blogs are going to care about fandom etiquette, and that’s where most of the incest pics come from anyways. You can often tell by the username, since it usually has some random combination of stock XXX words and “cartoon” in it. That and you basically never see them posting again afterwards. Or maybe that’s because I’ve blocked them all already.
Most of the actual artists on here know to tag everything as NSFW though, so if it bugs you you can at least use Tumblr Savior to skip over those ones. Since not many artists post only porn in the tag, that at least means you can skip over the dirty stuff without blocking everything else they draw.
