Vladimir Putin ordered attempt to influence US election, declassified report says
- Russian President Vladimir Putin personally directed an attempt to harm Hillary Clinton’s chances of winning the 2016 U.S. presidential election, according to an intelligence report declassified and made public Friday.
- The report, “Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections,” noted that Moscow has for years attempted to meddle in American politics, but 2016 operations “demonstrated a significant escalation in directness, level of activity and scope of effort.” Read more

edit: note that by refusing to acknowlege this report, trump is burning his bridges with the intelligence community. the cia and homeland security are usually so right-wing as to be proto-fascist in themselves, and he could’ve had them in hand so easily, but instead he’s giving them the cold shoulder in order to avoid offending putin.

it’s weird that we’ve been installing puppet presidents in nations for like 50 years now but we don’t have any protocols in place for what happens if another nation does it to us

my mom has a friend who has a failed program-service dog and he’s literally my favorite creature
He’s a really smart lab, he learned all the commands, but he just has an affinity for doing them whenever he wants
So this lady’s dog literally turns on-off lights, opens doors, opens the fridge, etc… at his own wishes.
Her house looks like its baby-proofed, with kid safe locks on everything and stuff, but really she just has a dog that’s learned all the mobility service dog commands but has a mind of his own.
